Eightbore I don't need anymore competition in the Lindner department. He wants a 28-30" smallbore in 20-28 and found one for a grand new in box. I told him to buy it and forget about the finish issues for that price. You'll never find a Lindner small bore with 30" barrels for a grand. If I do I'll buy two of them and hold one for a friend.
I know the barrels are black chrome and from limited research have come to the conclusion it is hard chrome plated for that nice bright durable finish on the rest of the gun . Don't know if their are ways to cut the shine or if he just needs to take it as is or keep looking.
