A low pressure load hand loaded using black powder and buffered buckshot would result in a pretty significant visual experience.

That actually might be great fun. Start looking for brass hulls at shows and on the internet. They're much better for BP, and last a whole lot longer. Paper hulls only last a couple of loadings. If there's a trap range near you, lot's of folks throw away their used paper hulls. If you have that type of source, go with paper. I've gotten hundreds that way, so I seldom load my brass hulls.
