Tripe, as well as other offal, is very healthy for dogs. I feed it whenever I can get it. I'm able to buy beef kidney by the case for less than $1 per pound. Whenever my friends have steers butchered or kill a deer I always ask them to save me the offal. It's the first thing that predators go for when they make a kill. It's like Easter Candy to dogs.
