The mention I made of my experiences during the Vietnam era doesn't mean I agree with my friend King's statement about the feelings of liberals toward the military (as well as law enforcement) . I think that many hard core liberal thinkers have nothing but contempt for those who choose to make their living enforcing laws and protecting our heritage. I was merely stating that I did not experience the disrespect of my country while I was in uniform. I agree with Pete in that we both think that there are those that are infected with that disrespect.
