I've owned and used a Cabela's Dickinson 12 gauge SxS for three years; and generally been pleased. Good SxS value for the money. Mine came with choke tubes.

I experienced two mechanical problems, and both were promptly repaired by their third-party warranty station in Oregon.

The first year the left trigger failed. I think an internal spring broke. Fixed and returned within two weeks.

Last year I started having misfires with my AA reloads using Nobel primers, and with Federal factory ammo. Reloads with Winchester primers were mostly O.K., as was Winchester factory ammo. Supposedly "hard primers." I sent it back for warranty repair. Returned within three weeks, and no more misfires. I don't know how/what the repair involved.

Other than these two instances, no other problems. Probably fired 2k+ rounds at Clays and birds. Killed many pheasants and some quail.

I would again buy a Dickinson.
