Although the stock is longer than my other guns (14 3/4"), I shot it really well. I was a bit concerned with the cheekpiece, but it felt like it was not even there when I would shot the gun. Also, I was a bit concerned as to how functional the design of the horn trigger guard would be during shooting, but that worked too. I am excited being the caretaker of this heirloom and appreciate any additional information we can find regarding its making origins. BillK

I need a bigger library on German gunmakers. There's got to be something somewhere that can gives us the definitive answer.
