Bartlett, it may have been completely wrecked but looking at it I would have thought that it could have been saved and worth it by sleeving. That is before it was deactivated. After that there is little to base a rebuild on. Shame with that one. Here that gun would cease to be a firearm and free from any restrictions and could be bought sold and possessed by anyone here in the U.K. I guess it was some sort of restriction in the U.S. that would prevent its import for some reason. Maybe the length issue. I found that there was little market for deactivated hammerless guns. It seems that everyone wanted hammer guns for wall hangers. As I say, I would only do that to absolute no hopers in order to save them from the melting pot. Lagopus.....
