Interesting thought. Looks like the type of auction where treasures may be hiding in boxes. I'd like to have a copy of "How to live with a [censored]". I buy Herter's stuff whenever I run accross it, I used to wear out the catalog when I was a kid. I was even going through my fly boxes the other day and realized I still have quite a few of their flies, bought in the mid-1970s.

I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.
