Steve Helsley Sidelock Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 531 Likes: 18	Pete, William Powell & Son guns in the 8450 to 8499 serial number range were sold between 1887 and 1889. Most were sold in 1887, a couple in 1888 and one in 1889. If you want specifics, PM me the complete serial number. Powell began using steel barrels in 1867.
