Apart from the "Selezen" pump, to my knowledge, there was exactly one gun bigger than 10-gauge made since 1945 - an 8-gauge hammer double by TOZ. Guess I'll have to research this issue.

Here's a video of a chap shooting his 4-gauge Selezen.

In absense of commercial 4-gauge ammo, he has to reload flare gun shells.

I'll try to find the images of the 8-gauge gun mentioned above.

The book is at the publishers' who are making up their mind about it.

Well, if you noticed smile I don't refer to TOZ-123 as a "4-bore" any more, but as a "4-gauge", which it is. It takes 4-gauge shells, at least. Did I mention it was originally developed as a police riot gun, to fire tear gas grenades and gum balls? I'm curious as to how you got to have yours.

The original riot gun was made by Klimovsk Special Ammunition Works, a defense industry enterprize, and the hunting version was made by Tula Arms Works (TOZ) - I suspect, out of parts made in Klimovsk.

What I didn't know is that they were exported. Are there any English markings on your gun, i.e. "Read the owners manual"?
