Der Ami Sidelock Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 4,939 Likes: 343 East Alabama	I believe the gun was reblued. If it was hand polished, the letters/engraving would not be harmed. I believe it was done in US. If not blued, or if reblued in Germany, the sides of the locking lugs, bottom barrel at locking lugs, muzzle, and rear of barrels/extractor, should all be polished bright. Mike
