The bulk of the Lindner-Daly's left Suhl & headed to Bremen, where they boarded a ship enroute to New York. Those that didn't board at the Port of Bremen, along with Belgian wares, found their way to Antwerp & on to the U.S. of A. Even Auguste Schoverling, having only 18 years, on the 16th of Oktober 1858, boarded the Baekskibet(Bark)Anna Delius @ the Port of Bremen enroute to New Orleans. I'd say this was his entry into the U.S. of A. and the beginnings of he & Daly forming a concern that would become a sporting weapons magnate/powerhouse.

For any of those following along closely or with additional interest, the Baekskibet(Bark) Anna Delius was built in 1854 at Bremen, Germany. Her dimensions were: length 148 feet, beam 30.8 feet and depth 20.5 feet.
