Start another thread. Title it "Need Hammer Repair", make sure you include the picture. One of the guys here will respond. Get the hammer repaired, and ask whoever does it to check barrel wall thickness and action tightness. Once the hammer is fixed and the other stuff checks out you're OK to shoot. Buy some Renaissance Wax off Ebay. Lube the gun properly, coat everything with RenWax and you have a Shooter. Go to Vintage Shoots, and hunt turkeys with it. Decide on other restoration aspects later.
