If I were you, I'd get the hammer repaired, clean up the bores and get the tubes and action tightness checked. At that point you have a Shooter. Anything else is optional. You can do the wood yourself, with care. Barrel and action coloring can come later, if ever. Both my Daly's are in much poorer shape, if I had yours I'd be using it.

Please, don't go anywhere near this gun with Cold Blue.

I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.
