Having a smith do the restoration for you will turn your fantastic Christmas deal on a fine old gun into a money pit. Your 1st priority now will be to determine the market value on a Lindner hammer-gun in good restored condition. You are in it right, but you need to know the refinished value in order to determine your budget for having the required work done.

Next consideration is the barrels. We can't tell anything from the pictures, but they don't look too bad to me. Have them measured for minimum barrel thickness and forget the project if they are not .025 or more.

Next determine if the barrels are on face with the action. That's not usually a deal breaking expense, but if you don't get it fixed you'll damage the gun by shooting it.

The important portion of your left hammer is all there. The extension can be welded and filed to somewhat match the right one. That's a lot of hand work and will be expensive. Don't forget the budget!

Last is metal and wood restoration. That one will blow your budget, so don't go overboard. You are going to wear it out yourself so if you're not selling it, don't over restore...Geo
