I believe it is mostly focused on the British gun trade/makers, as it does not cover any European makers/trade either. However, there is a small section discussing American gun makers. BillK

Santa brought me a different book by Mr. Hadoke, Vintage Guns for the Modern Shot. Wow! It looks absolutely fantastic, now I'll have to go buy Hammer Guns lol

Always have to cut it short somewhere and concentrate as much as you can on a specific subject or in this case a specific country.
Dig is a typical English writer like I.M. Crudgington or D.J. Baker, smooth as silk.

Hammer Guns book arrived at my house too. I read the illustrations for an hour or two. Some rather elegant guns are pictured. I will settle and read it critically starting today.
As usual, the guns are generally higher grade than those British hammer guns that I have owned.
The book is likely to start a hankering after finer things again.
