The only alignment with Russia that has been spoken about is fighting Islamists, but that has been distorted to serve Democrat political demonization attempts. A " Russian friend"? Perhaps, but it's way too early to determine anything, as actual policy has not been put forth. Mitch and McCain? Hardly representative of the Republicans who elected Trump.
