A chunk of c. 1905 Remington 1894 barrel; chamber and forcing cone superiorly, barrel bore inferiorly. Forcing cone was also about 1/2" in length



I would be quite interested as to when forcing cones became 1" and longer? With the Remington SP high density polyethylene compression formed hull introduced in 1960? The polyethylene Power Piston Figure 8 wad introduced in 1966?
