AW Pete; I simply remember reading about it. Looks like me & Mo-Skeet-O came into being very close together. I was born March of 38. I can remember, though it must have been in the fall of 44 which would have been when I started school, all the school kids scoured the country side picking up "Tin" cans for the war effort. I assume they went into bullet jackets.
