I wouldn't worry too much about going from a pie crimp to a roll crimp, burch, where you are, in Florida. The really low pressure loads are usually a problem in the colder climes. I am in GA and shoot bismuth loads at 5000-6000 psi with no problems, in cold weather (what we call cold, down to maybe 20 degrees). Roll crimps usually lower the pressure somewhat, but typically no more than 100 psi, and sometimes as little as 20-30 psi.
