Not to defend either Hillary or lawyers in general . . . but when you're a defense attorney, your job is to provide your client with the best defense possible....
This was not the point, or ever in question. She was not recorded, saying that she did her job to the best of her ability. She chose to laugh and make a joke about a situation that involved a twelve year old girl. Didn't the victim herself say that she had moved on and accepted the sentence, but was devastated by hearing that audio clip? Doesn't matter, hill did her job, but ask Shotgunjones why some rhetoric wins out over others.
