I was trying to be "Mr. Nice guy". So much for that..This guy is down in the mud with the rest of the pigs as evidenced by these last cartoons. A truly disgusting semi human being...

George Will has the situation pretty much pegged.
I very much agree with his observation that Trump has made some of the most un-American statements since Joe McCarthy.
We are watching the GOP commit political suicide.
Any of that whole cast of characters who appeared on the first GOP debate except Trump and Fiorina would have made a viable candidate with Graham being the best.
To honestly think that anyone who voted for BHO will vote for Trump this time shows the depth of the delusion.
The far right by their own actions have handed this election to Clinton.

Last Dollar - I too find those cartons disgusting. Disgusting that anyone would ever think of voting for Hilldabeast. That woman has no morals, and still people will vote for her. It's truly unexplainable.

George Will is a product of the Republican Establishment. As such he is partially responsible for what has happened, the Washington Republicans shifting away from the Republican values of Individual Freedom and Equality under the Constitution. The Republicans under Bush made the decision to no longer support their base, instead supporting their big donors pushing Big Government and Globalism. In this sense they became the same as the Democrats, with little difference between the parties, except the pace of government growth.
The role of Washington pseudo-conservaties has since been to annoint whatever candidate the Republican Establishment chooses with a thin patina of Conservatism in order for the base to support them. After the primaries are over that patina is quickly washed off and the candidate pivots back to support Big Government and Globalism again. Both McCain and Romney are examples.
This has caused the current situation and the rise of Trump, and also of Cruz. This election will be determined by turnout, and how many Democrats will cross the line and support Trump.

Not to defend either Hillary or lawyers in general . . . but when you're a defense attorney, your job is to provide your client with the best defense possible. (In this case, the defendant was convicted--but it was a plea bargain deal.) I heard an interview with the prosecutor in the case in question. Hillary didn't even want to take the case, but the defendant specifically requested a female attorney, the judge assigned her to the case and would not let her off the hook.
As for polygraphs, the results are not admissible in court. Usually, it's more a question of beating the operator rather than beating the machine. CIA, for obvious reasons, has pretty good polygraphers. But when you consider that they missed Aldrich Ames, who spied for the Russians for a number of years, it's easy to see that lie detectors are far from 100% reliable.

This was not the point, or ever in question. She was not recorded, saying that she did her job to the best of her ability. She chose to laugh and make a joke about a situation that involved a twelve year old girl. Didn't the victim herself say that she had moved on and accepted the sentence, but was devastated by hearing that audio clip? Doesn't matter, hill did her job, but ask Shotgunjones why some rhetoric wins out over others.

It is more accurate to say that the GOP top brass and members of Congress handed this election to Hillary, if indeed that happens although I don't think it will. It certainly wasn't the far right. The far right, and many others right across the political spectrum, are exhibiting a disgust for the disconnect of the political elites of both parties. The "inside the beltway" insiders. It accounts for the appeal of both Trump and Saunders. To describe it as the "far right" is to have bought the Democratic Party/MSM narrative that is really about preserving power for those already at the trough.
