Hi guys, my personal opinion, I didn't find this too interesting, but it's okay.

Generally, the various super glue uses seem to be more related to home tinkering rather than pro gunsmithing applications. What would you folks consider doing if the request for the job came in the front door. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the gun, it seems like a preventative request.

Do you folks think the gun needs it? If buying a gun or taking one in for repair, does signs of epoxy bring up any red flags?

I wouldn't think much structural improvement could come from using CA, but maybe it can help keep smaller chips around inletting from popping off? Maybe, cyanoacrylates can help stabilize the end grain in the inletting from things that can cause problems like moisture and too much of the various solvents and lubricating oils?

At least if someone looked, CA in the head of a stock might look similar to an oil finish? Is there a place in the pro shop for the CA's. Thanks much for any time you may have for these thoughts.
