moses Sidelock Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 593	You might take a look at marine products made for wooden boats. There are 2 part products that soak into weak & pithy wood, or wood with dry rot. They then set & really harden the whole piece. I have never yet used these products on gun stocks but I have used them on other projects that had weakened & old pithy wood. O.M
