I hear that Jack "Doubletriggers" Puglisi is sponsoring a shoot next month, the 21st I understand. Can someone provide some information, directions, program, etc? Some of us would be most interested in knowing how close we will be to the Puglisi Gun Emporium so we can go visit sometime during the weekend. Will the store be open? Rumor has it that the Czar's gun is long gone from Puglisi ownership, but there are other treasures to fondle. Bill Murphy

Bill, Puglisi's Gun Emporium is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You will have to come early or stay late to visit this treasure. Plans for the shoot are coming right along. We have sponsorship not only from Jack but also from Al at Classic Upland Supplies, Chris at Hulme Leather and Morris and Alex at RST. The result is that we are putting on a reasonalbly priced shoot that will have lots of quality prizes. The clays course is one of the nicest in the country. Come and have a good time. Can you give us some details? I can't shoot due to some health problems, but would like to come check things out. It is right in my back yard and would be a shame to miss it.

BM There is of course a 'Rough Old Hand Built pair of Purdey 20bore's,all scratched up and Hammered about the "Detonating, got sort of weird Leaves and Stuff all over the lockplates. 28"x2.3/4" Bbls.Built for some 13 yr old kid in Romania in 1936. I think he was some sort of 'King'(Not 'Hubba Hubba king witha guitar!) I'm sure he would let you Shoot a few 'bullets out of them, If I promise to clean them afterwards!!!!They are on 'Pugs' Site....Hope its a good 'Turn-Out'!! cc aka dt.

Bill, not sure if its correct or not but the new issue of gunlist aka Gun Digest has something about him saying "it would take half-million dollars to pry it out of my hands",and that he is interested in owning it "for a while" as it is the best invesment like a "Renoir"(why would anyone buy a painting instead of a gun?)
