KY Jon Sidelock Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 7,893 Likes: 651 Red State	I saw a double that was taken out of use by chamber casting the chambers about an inch deep and leaving the creosote in the chambers. If you do not remove it while still warm it becomes a real bear to get out. DAHIK This was done so the gun could be restored later if desired but not shot without a lot of work. They were saving lazy people form doing dumb thing.

WildCattle Sidelock Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 534 Northern California	In order to leave creosote in the chamber, you'll have to cork both ends of the chamber. :-) Cerrosafe is not a bad idea, even though it's quite easy to remove with a heat gun. Don't ask me how I know. However, it should be enough of a deterrent for the large majority of people. Best regards, WC-
