The first pictures are the "Nile" gun, now in the hands of a collector who also has the "Trafalga" gun.

The gold guns are a matter of taste, these guns are also owned by collectors who have pretty much all sorts of engraving work, needless to say, they are not shot

FROM THE TWENTIES PAIR. The picture was from the front cover of "Vogue" magazine but with the customers face.

Strikingly beautiful. The likeness captured of Roosevelt is just amazing. As I view these pieces I find myself not thinking of them as guns at all, but as artwork, made to be viewed but never used, or hardly even touched. And, while I can appreciate the beauty and the talent required to create them I cannot understand the desire to own them. I guess it's like what a yacht owner once told my Dad when, as we were talking with him at a marina, "If you have to ask what one of these cost you couldn't afford it anyway".
