For 12s and 16s, choke doesn't seem to be such a big deal. Open cylinder works about as well as IC. In true subgauges, however, I've come to the conclusion that a bit of choke really seems to improve lethality. Where does the 28 fall for most of you folks? Since this Dickinson is my first venture into choke tubes for side by sides, I'm a bit perplexed. I will try to pattern it first, but if that doesn't happen in time, what's a good mix for ruffed grouse, IC and IM?
