Is anyone familiar with this gun, or know of any for sale?

How strong the the firearm? Can it handle a conical, slug, or ball?

these guns are a reproduction of a light field gun...most likely not suitable for ball...

I had one for years, took lots of upland game and waterfowl with it.
Tried a round ball with a moderate powder charge a couple of times and it kicked like crazy.
Like Ed mentioned, it's a lightweight field gun with very thin tubes.
Very well made shotgun and always went off as advertised.

I know someone with one and they get ignition problems on one of the barrels; I think the lower one. Lagopus.....

Nice gun. Have heard about the ignition problems. Would adding weight to the stock improve its suitability for ball or conical? What pressures are the barrels rated to handle?

Thank you for the warm welcome! I like shooting double guns, especially Berettas, and have been interested in this unique o/u gun for some years. I usually shoot moderate to heavy black powder charges with spherical or conical bullets. If the gun is safe to shoot and recoil can be managed by adding weight, then I am interested in purchasing it.
