I am a Ford man, through and through. Farm trucks have rough life here ...... Either dusty as all get out or in and out of the mud from tending to irrigation on crops. My current F250 is absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned. I used to have a diesel but got a bad taste in my mouth with them, so when I bought this one I got it with the 6.2 gas engine. It is a hoss, at somewhere around 385 hp and 400 ft./lbs. torque. It is a 2011, has 213,000, doesn't use any oil, and has averaged 12.8 mpg since new. Never a wrench on the drive train. That is darn good for all the stop and start, and tank and trailer pulling I do with it. If I had to buy a new truck today it would be the same engine.
Hope they get lots of use out of it, Lloyd, and that you have a great grouse season.
