Vintage Gunners President Meets With Hopkins Game Farm To Make Final Arrangements for Vintage Gunners Cup

Last week President Gary Lacey and Bob Nay, President Carolina Vintage Gunners, met with George and Patti Hopkins to finalize arrangements for The Vintage Gunners Cup: 19th Annual Side-by-Side Shotgun & Rifle Championship and Exhibition on September 23rd - 25th, 2016. Vendor sales and shooter interest are high with just a month to go and we are looking forward to a great shoot. George was making arrangements to set the sort of "fun" sporting targets typical of "Vintager" shoots and his staff was "prepping" the rifle range. Should be a great time for all.

This will be the 19th "gathering of the clans", so to speak, and we are all looking forward to seeing familiar faces, renewing old acquaintances, poking through the vendor tents, shooting our great doubles, and enjoying some smooth single malt whiskies. Did I forget to mention fine cigars?

Plans for 2017 are already being made for a special celebration of The Vintage Gunners Cup: 20th Annual World Side-by-Side Shotgun & Rifle Championship and Exhibition to be held September 22nd - 24th, 2017. So mark your calendars and start checking off your packing list for this year's edition. See you in September!
