I have had zero luck fitting orphan Flues barrels to guns. I tired four times I think to match up extra barrels to guns I had at the time and nothing ever fit easily or at all for that matter. Each could have been done given time and lots of metal removal I am sure. I'd only try it again if I could get the barrels on approval and return them if there were a no go.
In fact I have a 20 Flues that I'd like to add a set of 28 or even a set of 30" barrels to but nothing seems to come my way. Right now it has 30" 4/4 barrels which have been opened up slightly to M/IM and Full which is fine for some things I want to do but much too tight for others. I am just using different loads to alter patterns as best as I can for now. Well it is in pieces right now as I am working like a house elf trying to get a new stock on it for dove season. So chokes are the least of my problems but I should be fine as long as the AC last in the shop. Without that I am not going to get it done until the temps drop 20-30 degrees.
