Were they "trade branded" guns made for Sears, Wards or some such? I looked at all the Savage and Savage/Stevens/Fox catalogues from 1937 to 1958 except 1946 and 1950 which I don't have, and no mention of decoration on the frame?!? I'm not doubting you guys, just curious. I'd like to see some pictures.
