True enough but what I'm saying is that even though Ferrari has been one of if not the most successful opened wheel racing teams they don't offer their Formula One car for sale to the general public. But through racing and the maximum stress that puts on their automotive engineering they can learn what work and what doesn't work. Same as the other racing manufacturers, like Mercedes and Lotus among others.

Isn't Perazzi doing the same with their competition in the Olympics and elsewhere? And as an added benefit building their reputation across the globe.

Or, are we talking apples and oranges?
