As I recall Remington made a steel plug for the purpose of adding weight up front for the 12 ga Wingmaster. This was primarily for use on waterfowl guns but the concept should work just as well for the 28ga if it needs more weight up front to smooth out the swing. If it doesn't work as anticipated it is a simple matter to remove & replace with the wooden plug, or maybe they use plastic these days, don't know haven't owned one in over 66 years now. I traded mine, 20 ga, in on a Parker prior to 1960 & never looked back. Two barrels just swing better for me.
