Considering black walnut blank purchase from Cecil. He's got all kinds of wood. Seems very knowledgeable. Anybody dealt with Cecil? Quality of the blanks? Prices seem reasonable, air dried in the Las Vegas desert.

Cecil is one of the great wood sellers in the USA. He stands behind his wood and is very helpful. Fear not to buy from him.

Cecil stands behind his wood. When turned if a flaw shows up he will replace the defective wood at no charge. My doublegun smith has used his wood a bunch. PS. I have heard good things about Watts Walnut as well.

Buzz I bought a blank from Cecil, beautiful piece of wood. If possible, see him in person in Vegas....you won't regret it.
