Back after a forced absence. Picked up a Darne 20 ga. gun today. It's very light and I was told it's a R 13, but I don't see the model on it. It's a great shape, case coloring is about 97% or so, unengraved. The stock needs to be refinished and a butt pad put on it, which I'll do. I know almost zero about Darne guns, and can't seem to find information in general on them. Anyway, here's a picture.

Looks like a good one. Hope it fits you because if they don't fit it becomes a problem. There is a good article listed on the home page here...Geo

Fits me as is, I'm pretty average. The barrels have a European sling swivel, which possibly indicates it's from overseas.

Gene, good to see you back. I had wondered if you had fallen into a hole. That's a great looking gun in a scarce gauge here in the U.S. Could you show us a good photo of the barrel flats? Hopefully our resident Darne expert, Ted, will chime in. Gil

I will eventually. Right now, I'm still getting used to it and I'm not sure how to take the barrels off! It's not a high grade gun, pretty basic, I would think.
