This is my Ballard Schuetzen clone, with a .22 lr Eric Johnson barrel and a stock by Argus Barker of Stevensville, MT. The scope is a Fecker Small Game and Target.
It is a tack driver.

Very nice xausa! I have another unrestored Schoyen Ballard, and a Schoyen clone built by Ballard Rifle Co. in Cody, Wy. I'm kinda partial to Schoyens, and schuetzen Ballards in general!

 Real Schoyen Ballard:

Funny story on the cased Schoyen I restored. When I negotiated the purchase, the seller never mentioned anything about the case, and accessories! After I bought it, he asked if I wanted the case and other items? Of course I said yes, and we headed to the parking lot. I opened the case to see the Lyman Super Targetspot 20x, Belding & Mull powder measure, and a few other tools and bullets.
Most people looked this gun over and walked away, as they thought it was ugly. I've even had some friends say they picked it up, but decided it was not worth saving. I sent them all pictures, so they could see it was worth saving afterall.
