Anyone have any experience using a Go Pro on a double gun? Amarillo Mike has suggested I record my amazing shooting for the world to admire in the future....How would you mount it?

A hat mounted camera is likely better as it does not affect gun balance, i have seen go pro footage off of crew serv s and it can be neat.

I have seen on YOU TUBE videos of this camera called a SHOT CAM. I am not sure how it all works but it has a red dot that works to show lead when taking a shot on a bird.

My wing shooting is so near to perfect, I don't need any help...Just memorialize it,,,, Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18 In other words, LD, watch out!!! I know, from experience. I was shooting a round of sporting clays with some buds several years ago and was about eight stations into a great round, seemed like I couldn't miss. After running the next station I turned around and, in my best Jim Carey imitation said, "Somebody STOP me!". Next station ....... I missed three easy targets that looked as big as '57 Desoto hubcaps. One of my buddies said calmly, " "SOMEBODY" stopped you." SRH
May God bless America and those who defend her.

Hey I get that...I'm just like everyone else , except better looking, and I do miss enough to have to seek the advice of Mr Joe Wood and Amike every now and then....I expect to get some good shooting in this year, time seems to be getting shorter...

I think a man of your abilities should look into a 3D camera rig. Just regular video looses so much of your special skill. Heck if not well recorded several completely dead birds look un-hit because of the tricks of cheap video equipment. Plus 3D video could show off your abilities to shoot as the second bird in line deliberately, shoot at the bird behind the much easier front bird when two birds are super imposed by position and the ability to shoot around trees and other natural objects. Heck if posted to YouTube you videos might get more hits than a Kardashian going into take a real job. Well not that many perhaps but several views an hour at least.
