If someone really wants the closest video to what the shooter's eye actually sees, eyeglass cams are the best, IMO. I have never had any of my own, but if and when i decide to buy an action video recording camera this is the kind I will get. The camera lens is only 1 to 1 1/2" out of line with the master eye, not under the barrel by several inches. Nothing to change the dynamics of your gun .... just another pair of shooting glasses.

Google "Zetronix recording sunglasses". In case you wonder about the quality, they sell police body cameras, too.

The GoPro gun mount does not open wide enough to fit a side by side.

Only problem with the glasses is that they focus straight ahead and when you get on your gun the glass cams are looking off into never never land....been there done that.

I do have a Go Pro and a head band mount...and have used it a few times shooting sporting clays and duck hunting when I took my grandson. Ducks and clay targets are extremely hard to see except in perfect light. And in real time the batteries don't last long either.

LD you can buy a cheap knock off Go Pro for close to 50 bucks...that should suffice your desire to become the next B movie internet starlet. crazy
