I had my Remington Model 30, be-barreled with a Shilen stainless barrel #3 contour and restocked with a synthetic MPI stock back in the mid 80's to the 35 Whelen AI version. I did it up for moose, bear, deer while hunting Kodiak, etc. while living in AK.

Although I kept the 375 H&H Sako, the 35 Whelen supplanted the 375 and I never felt under gunned!

Fixed it!
