While I don't have any real before and after photos of it, the first thing I did was use 320 grit sandpaper on the barrels, and buff the receiver. Then I cold blued the barrels, and made a new left hammer, it isn't the final hammer, I just made it for functionality purposes, and it works well. After all that I found a long bolt that fit the back of the receiver, a 1/4 coarse. From there I cut up some large slabs of birch, and hand planed them flat on one side. After some layout work I inlet them for the bolt, and glued them together. From there I inlet the receiver with chisels, a chainsaw file, and some sandpaper.... [img]
