Stopped in the local Academy sporting goods store today. They had AA 28 &410 sporting clays loads for $8.90 a box. The 7.5 shot is not much good for a Skeet shooter like me but for Doves! The hull is the standard AA HS, a real bargain. No ad or even price marked they just had them, great deal.

Academy is my no. 1 store for buying shells. Thanks for the tip, Bill. Maybe my local store will have the 28s and 410s on sale, too.

Great price.
I prefer 8 or 8.5 in the 410 for doves.
And I roll my own 28s, usually 8s for doves

Went to Dick's in Augusta, ME on Saturday and looked at the ammo shelves.... What a disgrace! !
12's and 20's is about all they stock and a damn poor selection of those.
They had one 100 round case of .410's in Federal but that's all. I asked the ten-year-old sales clerk if they had any 28's..... he never heard of 28's.
