Yah I know about no grouse in the south. And, presumably those in Miss know grouse are up north. Why not just title this 'Heads up-For you grouse hunters". Why add the word yankee? Let's change the subject line 'Heads Up-for you Rebel quail hunters". Does any one really think that wouldn't elicit a reply from some in the deep south?
Sounds to me like Yankee guilt talking. And, just so you will know the reason there is still a sour taste in the mouths of many Southerners, concerning the late unpleasantness, it can be stated in three words ...... William Tecumseh Sherman. The only response that your proposed change in the title would bring from Southerners is one of pride.
That is the difference you don't understand.
And, by the way OJay, there ARE grouse in the South. If there were not, would there be an open season on them? Hmm?
