Where might you be located? That might dictate who we would recommend. Always better to hand carry to a double gunsmith versus shipping if there is indeed a qualified person nearby.

As I recall, there was a mention of some Schwarz gunsmith in Georgia that was well known as a Parker repair outfit.

delgrego used to be, maybe still is, the gold standard for parker gunsmithing...like turnbull, proof that delgrego worked on a gun enhances its value.

On a good many Parkers proof that delgrego worked on them indicates non original upgrades, cyanide colors, non original skeet stamps. Guys that knew the old man sent their guns to Lefever.

Bullshit, Ed. Any graded Parker shotgun in 85% original condition is worth way more than any Parker in the same grade and gauge "restored" by Turnbull--original and unaltered are the Holy Grail of Parkerdom. The only 12 gauge double I lost $ on in a later re-sale was a Parker 12 GH made in 1924, and "restored" by Turnbull. I have not yet owned a Parker "restored" by DelGrego, however.

Anyone who knows better knows that the Delgrego name does not enhance ghe value of a Parker.
The only people who think it does are the ones that need all the help they can get selling questionable guns.
