I'm not sure what the varieties of Sterlingworths are. There seem to be Fox Sterlings., AH Fox Sterlings, Philly Sterlings, and Savage Sterlings so apparently the brand was bought and moved about a bit. Are any more or less desirable than others?


As a general rule the earlier the gun the better the quality was in the build. Early Fox Sterlingworth Pin Gun's were really well put together. Most Foxes made in Philly before the sale to Savage were of higher build quality then the later guns IMO.
