My first Fox was an 85%, 30", 12 ga. Philly Sterlingworth. It became mine for $850. That was the market at that time, not cheap, not badly overpriced, either. At that time 16s and 20s had not yet begun to demand the prices they do now. I still have it. Shot doves with it one whole season. That was when I learned I did not want another serious dove gun that did not have ejectors.

I would gladly pay over $1000 for a nice 32" 12 ga. Sterly.
