double gun looseness usually refers to a condition, whereby when a double gun is fully assembled and in the firing position, there is noticeable movement, either vertical or horizontal, between the action face and the barrel breeches...

vertical looseness is often caused by a worn bolting system and can sometimes be fixed by "tightening the bite".

horizontal looseness is often the result of a worn barrel hook or action hinge pin or both...and can sometimes be fixed by "rejoining" the gun...

what is your definition of a loose gun?

A gun can be loose but on face.

It can be off face but tight.

It can be loose and off face.

We have heard your totally incorrect ideas about loose guns before Ed. Do you have some loose guns coming up for sale, and are just trying to establish an excuse for not giving the eventual purchaser their money back? Just curious.

If someone wanted to check out that gun before bidding, what are your normal business hours at your gun shop? You do have regular business hours as required of all FFL's, don't you?
