I didn't have much time for photos - so please excuse the poor quality and the lack of information. This gun had a sliding top cover to the percussion box - I bet it was the very devil on a cold day with thick gloves!

I am not sure if this was a centre fire or a needle fire but the hinge out mechanism was one I hadn't seen before.



This pop up chamber for a percussion rifle would have been handy in a confined space.



And last but not least this is a pill fire with a detachable pill holder - not quite sure what the purpose is but someone must have had something in mind - perhaps if you had several preloaded it was safer than carry detonators loose in the pocket - or was easier in cold weather.
