Good morning. Does anyone out there know of a source for the above?

A friend has one and would like to try it out.

Thank you!

Buffalo Arms carries loaded ammo and brass. Bertram makes brass and you can resize 9.3x72R brass. C&H has reloading dies for it.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Thanks oskar. It's tough to put money into reloading equipment considering the relatively few rounds that will be run through the barrels!

I think the Buffalo Arms ammo is around $76/20 plus shipping. They also have original length 38-55( 2.125")cases, at a good price. These cases are a little short but are useable by loading the bullets "out". They also have 38-55 Basic cases(2.245"), which are almost perfect length, but are a few dollars more per 20.The answer is to shoot more, and justify the equipment. To some of us, loading for our rifles is it's own justification. I load for several rifles, using a combination of different caliber dies, already on hand. However, to do this, you must have the other dies.

I looked into using the long 38-55 but my chamber is pretty tight and I was going to have to thin the rims. The 9.3x72R brass is only .14 cents more than the long 38-55. it was worth it to buy the slightly more expensive brass than have to mess with the rims. I load for the 6.5x58R Sauer, it is one of my goto coyote guns and I use a fair number of rounds each season and have 40 made up cases. I did buy 20 Bertrams but brass in the neck is so thin that my sizing die won't take it down enough to hold a bullet and the brass is brittle from the factory and needs to be annealed before loading. I do have to anneal the 9.3x72R's before swaging to 6.5

L to R .243-6.5x58R-9.3x72R

Instead of buying two boxes of shell buy one and a set of dies and shoot it as much as you would ever want. C&H 8x58R Sauer dies are only $87.

Appreciate the input. Think i'll have to wait until Buffalo 'reloads', as it were.
